Get a Boost on Your Impact Career

We are so excited we get to bring you back to campus multiple times a year to speak to our students – they love your energy and your powerful advice every time!

There’s a concept of doing good and doing well.  It’s an idea that I definitely align with.  Do well – make a good living, but also do good – help others and make an impact.

There are numerous, numerous careers that allow you to both do good and do well.  If you aren’t already familiar with Net Impact (www.netimpact.org) I highly recommend you check out their job postings, career resources, and networking opportunities (which are vast!) to help get a boost on landing your impact career.

A dream job is one that is, among other things, rewarding.  It’s all about finding the right fit with an organization you absolutely love working for, and that challenges you appropriately.  I spoke at the Net Impact Conference this year, which had nearly 3,000 attendees.  The energy amongst these Impact Job Seekers and Impact Companies looking for top talent was amazing.

Mark Albion, former Harvard Professor and faculty founder of Net Impact, is someone I really look upto, and has created an amazing resource for students to navigate the world of Impact Careers.  This field is lively with entrepreneurs and trailblazers who basically take their careers into their own hands and make waves in the process.  The opportunities are limitless and extremely rewarding.  I recommend checking out More Than Money Careers (http://www.mtmc.co/) to “Get Clear, Get Connected, and Get Hired” into an Impact Job.

People think about giving back during holiday times, but imagine giving back all year round… and getting paid well for it!

Do Good and Do Well – its possible with an Impact Career.

Rock On!
